A film of existing upon fringes – of concern, of the frame, of the shifting attentions of your abuser, of career elevation, of your own integrity. Angela Wong Carbone snaps harrowingly between perky-presentable and deeply perturbed – exposing the deep fissure of stress between. No peace of mind in sight – just a vast glass-walled cage of potential years. A film that exposes how deft society is at making the noises of change, while changing almost not at all.
