Kathy E. Mitrani

Kathy E. Mitrani is a Colombian writer/director based in New York where she is completing her MFA at Columbia University.

Her first short film, Rubbed in Pink, had its festival premier at Palm Springs International Short Film Festival and screened at AFI Fest, La Femme International Film Festival and Festival Internacional de Cine de Villa de Leyva. It is featured on Nobudge, Directors Notes and is a Vimeo Staff Pick.

Her most recent short film, Buzzkill, premiered at Chicago International Film Festival, screened at Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival and Miami Film Festival. It awaits other festival screenings in 2021.
